It's coming to my attention that in some milist people are confused regarding 'the new custom fee' imposed for shopping online fro ebay/amazon etc and then send to Doha by courier. Mostly people choose to send by Aramex, but some of us also using DHL, FedEx, TNT, UPS or even USPS. Some of this courier company are charging custom fee to each of our package which is sometimes almost the same cost than the price of the items itself. As per the courier company it is the new rules by the Qatar Customs as the traffic of online shopping in Qatar was so high.

In this regards I need some advice whether is it true that there's a new rules of custom fee implemented to all of a things bought online from ebay/amazon entering Qatar? And if it's really implemented can somebody advice me what kinda things they will charges (Electronic? Clothes? Automotive parts?) and what kinda things that they will let it come for free without custom charges?

dear sir,, first of all be carefull to shop online, i have two items of worth 2000qr sent by ebay and google sellers with tracking no starting with LJ and LC did not reach me...

i do not why...

i bought 1 item of worth 500QR, online through ebay, landed safely here and i am not charged any thing...

i do not know about new rule...
