I have a Thai friend who would like to come and visit and I wanted to ask if anyone knows of the best way to get her a visa.
I have read that she would need to get a letter from a hotel in order to get a visit visa, however I didnt want to go to the expense of paying for a hotel when I have a spare room where she could stay or if that is not allowed then I have a friends family that would be able to provide a room for her to stay in.

Any advice would be very much appreciated

I think, getting her a visit visa through a hotel is the only way. Have her book for 1 day only.
