Minimum contract service is 2 years....and if he got terminated or he resigned, he owes the company whatever expenses spent to bring him to Qatar.
We had to let one of our drivers go...and he's going home with nothing.
Sad coz I wasnt able to save him...someone in the compant went directly to the Management (the biotch went over my head) and made the termination recommendation. And the letter was released and I was the last to know...DAMN that woman..a fellow compatriot is going home next week...

mostly the employers stick to the one year period. indemnity/gratuity is paid upon completion of one year which is mentioned in the labor law too.
worked less tham one year and asking for gratuity. Instead your friend's Employer should deduct all the expence he incurred for getiing your friend here.

my company only pay gratuity if you complete your contract what is 3 years. Anything less no money and no honey
you have to complete one year....
Most companies will not pay as the gratuity or end of service benefit is based on annual service.
