Hai,
Iam from India, male working as sales manager in a firm.Iam working with the company since 2years in doha. Now the company is closed related with some baladiya problems. Now my salary is pending from last 7months.My salary is 12,000qr.But in contract its written as 10,000 with all benifits. And my visa is over and iam in grace period since 1month,but my contract is valid for more one year.My sponcer is not ready to pay my dues. What i should do to get the dues? Can i go to the labor dept and indian embassy with labor contract and demand for the dues?Wether i should demand the same amount in the contract or the salary which i was earning?I didnt recieved any pay slips to prove that i was earning more than the amount written in contract? How many days it will take to settle down the issue from labor dept?As my visa is over if the issue last long, would i have to pay fines for over stay?Or i should go to labor dept after consulting a lawyer? If i go for labor dept, wether the sponcer have the right to ban me from entering to qatar for 2yrs?
expecting favourable guidence..
thanks
suni.

Better to speak to a lawyer before proceeding to the labor department. In any case you will get the ban if your sponsor does not give you the NOC, however if you do win the case at the labor department they can force the sponsor to give you a NOC as the company is closed down. Also if you have no proof of salary being 12k then you will have to settle for the 10k mentioned in your contract. All fines etc will have to be paid by your company as you are under their sponsorship.
