Is it common for nursery shools in qatar to cut weekend salary of a teacher if absent on thur or sunday?

i jus joined a nursery school as a kg1 teacher..they told me if im absent on sunday or thursday they will cut my fri sat salary as well...eg if im absend on sunday and my salary is 3000/month..they will cut 300..,they also told me all schools in qatar do this...i just want to make sure its true..because i dont belive them.

You can check with the SEC for specific rules regarding such deductions. What does your contract state? Check the labour law as well. If you are absent from Thursday till Sunday without a cause, then they can deduct the salary.any unauthorized absence is liable for deductions.
