If he will come here in Qatar with a proper working visa he needs to do a medical examination in the Philippines,as medical results is one of the requirements from the Qatar Embassy in the Philippines before the stamping of the Work Permit/Visa on his passport.

As far as I know even if the doctors said it was cure there's already a scar that will show that he had PTB before, which some of the accredited clinics in the Philippines consider as a NO-NO or it means when the scar will show on his Xray results its a problem (but i dont know now, during my time most of the male applicants they were not able to passed the medical because of the scar)but you need to check on that.

If he's coming here via a visit/business visa and will just look for a job here, one of the requirements here is a clear XRAY results and if that scar will show on his xray maybe he will not be able to work here...I have a colleague before and that was his case, the primary reason is his scar because he also had PTB.

Goodluck and God Bless
