I find that people who write in text speak usually have an equally worthless opinion.

Well, because their opinions still matter to me, if i am following a thread, i read everyones opinion, i dont selectively read what i only want to read, their opinion might same as mine or whatever, it's just that the way they write is pretty annoying and the way they shortcut the word is sometimes hard to read and comprehend :(

What I know is I will never even try to read things that will hurt my eyes or hurt me. Hahaha! :p

You are not a teacher here. Nor are you a parent. Your stance is completely paternalistic and pedagogical. By being judgmental you can not achieve anything but loss of friends. I know you are a cute girl with a cute heart. Why then would you go around and annoying people by pointing mistakes in what they write, mistakes which they are completely fine with, but which only bother you. When you are their teacher, or had you happened to be their parent, you would have all the liberty to strike upon them like thunder.

Look, I am not fighting with you here. I am just saying there is no need to make such an issue of it. What is the need for giving a warning? So many people like writing and reading the style. Just because you do not like it, people should get 'warnings' and 'suspensions'. Come on, be no barbarous.

You can always say that you do not like this style. May be you can point out what is wrong with the style. You can be as vocal as you like about it. But I do not think you should slam a ban on it, just because your eyes 'mubarak' can not take the trouble to read them.

I do not like cricket. I feel it just makes you lazy and waste time. But I am not going to appeal to the government to make it illegal. The problem is with me, not the game.

As I said, I too do not like such casual style, but I do not mind if someone is writing in it. At least, he/she will never get my attention, that is enough as far as I am concerned. And it is really not like using the bad words. Those words are offensive and must be discourage whether by a ban or anything. This one is not that serious, I guess.

You really seem to be in distrss. But the cause of your distress is yourself. Why do you bother to read a post with such text? Just read something else. I too do not like it but I would never ask someone to take action against it. There are so many things which others do, and I do not. That does not mean I should go around fighting with them and stopping them. Live and let live.
