Family Visa stamping not done at Qatar Embassy, Phil

I applied for a family visa for my wife 3 months back from the ministry of labor and afterwards was given a visa number wherein it is said that my wife needs to enter qatar by Dec 6, 2011. However, my wife have not yet sent her passport to the Emasssy of Qatar in the Philippines for stamping because she was advised by Qatar Airways not to do so because she needed to have a working visa because she was accepted as a cabin crew.

My question is, if I do not have my wife's passport visa stamped, would her visa number from he MOI automatically be deleted or do I need to go to the Immigration office for it to be cancelled even though visa in the passport is not yet stamped?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Qatar Airways does not want her to be on husband sponsor. Initially, that was the reason why I got the family visa. But when I got the visa they said that I need to cancel my wife's family visa so they can apply her working visa

even if she will be working with Qatar Airways she can work holding a family visa unless Qatar Airways is not accepting applicants on a family visa/husband visa.
