my contract with the present company is about to expire on mid january and i just received an offer letter from another company. do i still need an NOC or whatever documents so i can work with the new company?
so this is your second company. Hope they do the same thing like your first company. Talk to your current management and ask politely about NOC. If they give you one, then it's very fine, if they don't, then you are ban for 2 years. Lots of prayers and maybe everything will be fine!
thank you very much sir/madam for the advice...am just really worried because of what i've heard that some companies here are not giving an NOC even if they have already finished the contract...actually sir, am working with another company before and lucky for me that they give me an NOC even before my contract expires that's why i was able to transfer with my present employer...and now another company is about to hire me for another project that's why i post my querries...
actually sir am working with another company before and luckily even when i resigned before my contract expires they still give me an NOC that's why i was able to transfer to this company that am presently working...
Listen carefully... If you r in good post and well qualified... then the company has to give NOC.. its compulsory for them..
in case if they dont give.. then u can take this matter to Ministry and they will put fine of around 100,000 QAR.. and they wiill have negative marking for the company
If you were hired by your present company outside Qatar then yes, you'll be needing NOC. But if you were hired here already, then you don't need NOC in order to transfer to other companies.

you will need NOC whether local hire or international hire.
This is bit confusing. How one can proove that you are hired locally?
