Hi every one,

I was hired by local qatari co, to work last Oct from my home country. but they did not pay my 1st month salary, no transportation allowance is given. i travel by bus daily.
(QR 2/= bus fare). they say this is there company policy.

are they any depatment, where i can complain and and get my 1st month salary.

I have not given any contract/not singed, no medical, finger print gone.

I m only 2 months here, i have another offer, can i resign and work for that new co.

You cannot apply to any other company and just transfer from here. As your present company issued you a visa and brought you from your home country. Better option is to just go back to your country without signing any contract and then try to apply for a job or better find a job first and then go back to your country.

if you got a good opportunity , you can do that, just confirm everything with another company, and then you can go back to your country without stamping visa and signing the contract with the current company, so you will not face the problem of two years ban also...

Check for a real job , where you work in an office not from home .

I know your desperate to find a job , but don't just attach yourself in anything comes on your way .

and as long you didn't sign any contract with them you can easily transfer to the other job and i don't think that you can get your first salary since they didn't pay it .

QR 2 / Bus Fare??? The last time I rode a bus, they are charging QR 3 and that was January this year.

Anyhow, hope you will sort out your problem with your employer.

if ur not under their sponsor ship and have not signed any contract then u must look for another company there is no such policy for no payment but going to complain here is of no use maybe u didnt hear but qatar is one of the worst violator of labour rights so better find another job and dont inform them in advance just dont go there any more
