Any specific requirement for expat or tourist to allow driving in Doha? Do they accept international licence or any country licence can be used?

If you have a license in your country, then you may also apply for an int'l license from there. Int'l license are valid for 12 months and you may only use it if you do not have a residence permit on where you will use the int'l license. Example, if you are an expat from UAE, with UAE drivers license and wants to visit Qatar, you may go to post office for the application form. Then, it shall be issued. When you visit Qatar, you may use the Int'l license issued by UAE when you drive in Qatar or to any country that is acknowledge by AAA. Countries where you may use the int'l license are written on the int'l license itself.

Actually no you can't. I believe if you have a business visa AND an international driver's license you can drive for up to 3 months. If you just have a "Western" license (with or without Residency) the limit is 10 days.

You would be fine driving with international licence. If you have a british or any western country licence, you can get a temporary qatar licence which valid (3months) till your visa expire.
