NEW RULE FOR FAMILY VISA EXTENSION

DEAR FRIENDS,
MY FAMILY VISA IS GETTING EXPIRED IN THE NEXT MONTH, SO AS PREVIOUS PROCEDURE I SENT AN SMS ON MOL WEBSITE BUT THEY REFUSE. i visit labor office but they say that now they have transfer all rights to immigration office. can somebody tell me that what is new rule to get extension of family visa.

my family is in Qatar since last 2 years. they are having permanent residence permit. now ministry of labor is not dealing with these matter for approvals for family visa. they transfer everything to immigration department.now i dont know where i will go. i need help from you to guide me that what is the procedure now. SMS to 92727 is no more effective. BAD LUCK

Wasim, Please clarify if you are asking about visit visa or residence visa. If it is visit visa do as recommended by nath and if you are thinking of extending the stay of your family outside Qatar for more than six months (RP) then I think they are extending it only for 15 days.
Nath, my post is regarding family Residence Visa and not visiting visa.

I extended visit visa for my mother last week for two months.
Hi, Just go to Immigration at Graffa and get the form filled up for renewal. Approach counter and they will directly renew the visa.
I was told that Six months extension is no more and the maximum extension you will get is 15 days.
