job offer
Guys, please advice as I was offered a job in a local bank with 35K QR, I wonder if this is a good offer or not, I'm living in Dubai already and when I move to Qatar I wanna have a good life style, for example I will live in the pearl and drive a nice car and will get my wife a nice car as well, will put my children in an international school so I wonder if this is enough to do so or not.
In addition to the salary there will be 2 month extra pay and annual bonus which is handsome, if u can help me with some breack ups it will be great.

And kolombos if this guys in Qatar get to know that you are actually from Colombo then they might reduce the salary they are offering. So while the going is still good and not much questions being asked grab the offer and you can have a very comfortable life with your country folks out here. Instead of living life a la vida at the Pearl you can have a comfortable place in Wakra by the sea.

IF YOU DO WHAT ALL YOU TOLD SAVING WILL BE VERY LESS / NEGLIGIBLE... BUT IF EVEN COMPANY GIVES YOU FULLY FORNISHED ACCOMMODATION in PEARL / WEST BAY AND CUT YOUR 5-10K SALARY LESS .. THAT WILL BE GOOD.
AND IF YOU ALREADY OFFERED SALARY WHAT YOU TOLD AND ACCOMMODATION BY COMPANY THAN BEST...

you should ask for not just Pearl Qatar,, why dont you ask a permanent suite in Sheraton ?

35k isn't a good salary in qatar if u wanna enjoy the lifestyle you are hoping for....i had 35dhs in dubai and now i am in qatar with a better package, still i find it difficult to make a good saving. i wud advise you, negotiate with your employer..
