Location, Location

Hi There,

Landed in Qatar 7 days ago, my family will be joining me next month. My company has put me in a Hotel while I look for suitable accomodation.
I am sure this question has been asked before but here goes:

I am looking for a 2 bed apartment. Please advise the most central area, English schools, shops etc.

Housing allowance is negotiable, area is the most important at the moment.

Pearl is completely unsuitable for your requirements, no schools, shops or anything near it to be honest and at least a 45 minute drive to the airport.

I would live somewhere near to C ring or Al Waab steet, not so far for your job and good location for most schools.

Thank you for the advise, I can get an apartment in Al Waab, Villa D este 2.

Very close to Hyatt plaza. Is this a suitable location?

My office is located near the airport.

mos of the recently landed try looking for something close or nearby to school or office. Also consider access to main roads as a plus.

Based on your office location you could get some more feedback as to where to look for housing.
