TV & Internet
By smith_hessle •
HI,
I'm trying to find out what the best options for TV and Internet are?
I' ve read that Qtel Mozaic is a good deal but I cant see what the TV Channels are.
I'm English and would like a variety of English/American channels and also sports channels that show the Premier League. Could anyone tell me what the costs would likely be for a package of this sort?
Also, with Mozaic then they do an option of 1mps and 2mps, I like to go on the Net and I will be using skype a lot so will the 1mps do or is the internet speed no good?
thanks
Just watch the football in the pub. That's by far the best option.
I have 1 MB Mozaic and skype runs poorly, but that's not necessarily down to my end user speed of course...
Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Unfortunately the trouble you will find in dealing with Qtel and their many MANY problems will probably make you wish for Western customer service/support (again?). Mosaic does provide 1-2Mbps only, at different price points depending on which channel packages you select. They'll even tease you with one free month of open access to all of their (limited) channels, then cruelly close them all but their 'basic' stuff (mostly Hindi/Arab channels with boring Western financial news). They also charge a huge amount for setup, stick you into a contract, and have cardboard customer service. Their tech support knows nothing.
Advice: Get satellite like everyone else. :)
if u need EPL u need to have Qtel Mozaic.. I doubt its available with other connections.. Moreover Internet shudn be mad if ur willing to uprade ur speed.. So on the whole it should be fine.. But remember there are extra charges fr upgrades and more internet speed. And also extra bucks for EPL and other required channels which are not included in their package.. On the whole it might cost u about 400 bucks per month with TV service, phone and internet..
i am the Qtel Mozaic user i am not satified with it at all....
