Car - Buy or lease?

I'm moving to Doha in a couple of months and I'm after some information on getting access to a car.

I've read on the forums that its better to buy and buy new because of the insurance and things but I do not have access to that kind of cash straight away. Would I be able to get a loan to cover this?
Also as i'm not sure how long i will be in Qatar as my contract is for 2 years at the moment would this still be a good idea in that I may need to sell it at a later date?

If I rent then what can I be expecting for around 1500 - 2000 QR a month?

finally does anyone know if there are lease to biy deals and where the bests ones to get this would be?

thanks in advance

thanks for the replies,

when you say banks give loans are these decent loans in terms of low interest?

what sort of car can I expect for QR 50000?

also with insurance i've heard you can only get Full cover on new cars and then 3rd party on anything over 1 year old, is this correct?

finally, is it as simple as using my UK Driving Licence or do I have to apply for a Qatar licence?

See it is work like that:

If you getting good payment from your company, you can buy car as you can get loan from bank.and you can sell it again, if you buy QR50000, you can sell it QR 40000 after 2 years, so at the end in 2 years you will just spend 10000+insurance which is around QR600 a year

if you want take car on lease it will be cost more, you paying around 1800 to 2500 , which will cost you 2 years around QR25000

GOOD LUCK
