Living in qatar

Hello friends

I have an offer from a hotel for gross salary of 7000 QR + 2 bedroom apartment for family. Will I be able to manage the living costs with this amount. Family comprises of me and my wife. I have to sponsor her for the visa.

and oh,btw, i party like about once a month to cool off but am into motorsports(motorcycle racing).

think im able to hold that lifestyle with just QR$8000??

of kos put aside the QR$8000 for my savings.

is a paycheck of QR16,000/mth enuf for a decent living in Qatar?? buy a car??support a decent 4 meal a day,smokes a pckt of ciggarretes per day. Accomodation and transport by employer.

will there be enuf for saving of about QR$8000/mth?

im single.

getting a family visa in Qatar is almost impossible in qatar now a days... even if you work for a government sector... more over with your basic salary, it's a question???????

It's too difficult to get a family visa now a days.. if your offer is from private company, then it would very difficult to get a visa for wife, though they say that you can get your visa.

One personally paying for a family accomodation here is a burden but since your company takes care of it, doesn't seem a bad offer to me for your age. This all depend on the type of company that is making you the proposal. As what SK highlighted, clear that subject out.

too low. qatar become so expensive after the emiri salary raise for qataris. it is unfair for the expatriates. everything is being sold at higher prices ...

 it always depends on the lifestyle of ur family.some can live with it, others cannot.

First of all, to call family here, your slary hsould be QAR 7500 (minimum). Its mean, you will not able to call your family here with this salary... Try to negotiate. Package is fair enough. Good Luck !.
