These accessories should be reasonably priced. You can find them in any computer store. Try searching the sofitel stores if you can't succeed with solution proposed by KHAN1970.
Reconnect the Hrad Disk to laptop and start the laptop with Bootable mini windows CD or USB and copy all the date, its very simple
hi thank u for the info.when changed the HDD was accessible. do u know abt the cost of these accessories? and shop in qatar?i need a folder from that HDD as early as possible, can i hire these accessories if its very costly?do u have any idea abt any service providers who may have the accesories to help me by just transfering the contents to a CD? thank u
The connectors you are talking about are known as SATA connection (7 pin for the data, 15 pins for the power). You might try buying an external hdd encloser with SATA interface and plug it in there, connecting the enclosure to your PC/Laptop via USB. If the hdd is still accessible, it should give you access to non-bad-sector parts.
The hdd model you specify is working under SATA 1.5 (Rev. 1) interface - but the SATA 3.0 (Rev. 2) should work with it as well. Not sure for SATA 6.0 (Rev. 3) as I havent tried it personally.
