Did he do something about it or he just do something for himself? Yeah he walk the walk but for himself only & now he rants about it why not fight the system on the inside? Change it as a whole not just for himself...
BRIT - open dissent against the system that enslaves you is something to applaude. He'd had idealistic dreams while at journalism school of what it meant to be 'a journalist' and became disabused of that notion after only a few months' work at a big corporate radio station. He discovered that "the ability to bullshit [oneself and others]" was one of the primary job requirements. So he has bailed out of this career early on, in spectacular style. Of course, if he'd only said what he had to say about capitalism, wage slavery and fascism without the expletives, in measured 'newsreaderly' tones, during prime-time news, his samizdat might have had more resonance in the country with one of the biggest wealth disparities in the world. (The top 10% of earners earn 75% of the income). He'd still have been summarily fired of course
