questions about buying a 4x4 in Doha

We will be relocating from N Amer to Doha in the new year. Having visited twice it is clear that driving in Doha is not for the faint of heart, and that a person should have a large, dependable 4x4 for security and comfort. I've read several posts about this topic here and would appreciate some more info:

1. Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol: what are the different trim levels? 2011 price ranges?

2. Is a Chevy Suburban a good option? Price?

Seems like BMW X-series, Audi Q series and Range Rover are too exclusive to be dependable. The other Japanese brands just don't compare to either Toyota or Nissan.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Mitsubishi Pajero is another option.  Less expensive than the Toyota and Nissan, it will have a high used resale value and they are very dependable.  There are lots of suburbans around as well, but they may have less resale value down the road.

Go for Toyota Land Cruiser it is value for the money even after use of several years you wont loose less compare to all other vehicles, and if you don't bother about the price and devluation at selling time thengo for Youkun or Tahoe very nice vehicles.
