Please advise me what should i do ? I taken up a job with a dubai based company in the year 2008. I got my credit cards from Bank, immediatley after recession my company fired me in the month of march, 2009 by saying do not require any more due to bankruptcy. As i never dream t of loosing job, i spend ed out my crdit cards of amt 90000AED. Since i was unable to reply to bank, n came back , now bank is has appointed highly illiterate collection agency locally in my place they are warning me that i will be getting arrested for non payment. As i dont have a good job now. cant re pay but yes i do want to pay them back. I also want to go back to dubai n work but dont knw why UAE govt has made this kind of rule where there is a hatred. there are thousands of people who want to re pay but UAE bank is not giving any option to re pay. so i got a job offer in qatar . so will it a problem cuming to qatar , please advise me iam in bad situation .

One of my friend was in the same situation or even worse as he had an outstanding of almost 350,000aed. He negotiated with the bank and was able to convince them as he has an offer, will be able to pay back in some equal installments. So its better talk to them , show your offer letter and tell them will pay off in some equal installments. Bank will not get the money back once you are jailed off and also you can run for a while, but if you are positive enough you can always talk to them and finish it off. All the best.
