HI guys, I am wondering if there are any pottery makers in Qatar where we can go buy vases/dishes/pots, etc.... just plain ones that can be painted/decorated on.
In "The Mall" at the corner of the mall roundabout and D-Ring road, is a paint-your-own ceramics studio. It's kinda hidden away, look in the back corner of a furniture store, next to a couple of fast food outlets. Lots of bisque you can paint and then they will fire it for you. Skip the fast food, the studio itself has pretty good food too! We've spent several lovely afternoons there. Don't know if you can just purchase their pieces to take home and use with your own paints, but I'm sure something could be arranged.
