When is visa stamping on passport being done?

Please kindly tell me when is visa stamping on passport being done? Is it once my visa is approve or after medical and finger printing? I'm just having doubt about the processing of my visa. It took 2 months before they get Filipina Visa for me and after that its almost 1 week now excluding the holiday but my visa is not yet transfer. Please kindly advice me. My visit visa is about to expired next week because I'm waiting for them to process it. Is it realy that long to transfer visit visa to working visa?

agree with tink... you really have to discuss this with your employer. There is a per/day penalty for your stay in Qatar once your visit visa gets expired. Until your visa is fully transferred, you have to pay the penalty.
