Kapamilya stars to descend on Doha

Multi-talented heart-throb Piolo Pascual, Pilipinas Got Talent first Grand Champion Jovit Baldivino and singer-comedienne Giselle Sanchez are set to warm the hearts of overseas Filipinos in the northeastern part of the Arabian peninsula with shows on September 9 in Kuwait and September 10 in Qatar.
After several years, Kapamilyas in Kuwait and Qatar will finally get a taste of what their counterparts in the UAE have been experiencing as TFC treats them to a weekend of fun with fellow Filipinos and world-class entertainment from TFC stars.
“Although there were hurdles in the past in bringing our artists to some of the Gulf  countries, we did not lose hope,” said ABS-CBN Middle East and Europe Managing Director Edgardo Garcia. “And now that our longtime desire to fly in topnotch Kapamilya stars from Manila has come true, we’re all the more hopeful that not just some but all of the Filipinos in Kuwait and Qatar would gather together and enjoy seeing beautiful faces, hearing wacky antics and watching awesome performances that remind them of their happiest moments in the Philippines,” added ABS-CBN Middle East Marketing Head Maribel Hernaez.
Kapamilyas Live 2011 in Qatar will be held at the Al Dafna Hall, Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel. Tickets are priced at QR65 for VIP and QR45 for general admission.
