Who are these people?

Some bearded men entered our site office, recited a few verses from the Holy Quran and asked us for charity. i remember last year these very same people had provided me a reciept for my donation very hesitantly on my iensistance. who are they and how do we not be cheated by frauds like these. they are bring dis repute to the Muslims
In my view they are misuser of islam... Making Islam as their business n making lots of money... nowadays it can be seen everywhere in Doha .. so we people need to stop helping them to get rid of this kind of cheaters
why didn't you ask them instead of asking us....?!
