Claudia73; Why is all this racism? I hope every person has its own quality and also companies need their own . If you failed 4 times in interview, the problem is not with the companies but with you. Revise what you said during the interview and try to correct them.  @ bhargavi.aswath Try Try and Try. It is possible. Don't give up.

claudia, you should have not posted that words here, it only shows how racist you are..so poor of you...you will receive lots of comments then with your post.Don't look down the Filipino, for your information they are the most versatile workers here in Qatar...moreover you will rarely find Filipino working as laborers...go out and see for yourself..

Pappu - Only on papers? Knowing how to deal with people whoever they are is important. I never picked this on paper,It's based on my experience.

If you are like that,I'm different. I'm not another Pappu in this world. You can never expect everybody to believe what you believe and behave like how you behave..

wt ur sayin is like only on papers but in actual ask a question to urslf will u appoint a pinoy or non-pinoy if u have a opening under you. No need for the anser.

we all are like this we all prefer if at all any vacancy lets get our brother or sister down here besides us.

all wht u need is to have the courtesy to admit the fact beneath urslf and if u ask me the same i will say yes i am like this.

Zan.dro - It's really not about nationalities. We might as well think that one of the vital part in becoming successful is by learning how to deal with different kinds of people. We are not living alone here and we will never have harmony in life if we don't know how to respet others. When it comes to people having attitude like this,I just hope they choke with the sh*t they talk..

well you said it Sarah and G-Hanz, It is not about nationalities and races. Along with your skills, you will have to work with people from all cultures. Making presumptions about people will do you no good.

i dnt say tht claudia's statement is rite but racisim is in every1. if we dnt like any1 pointing at we shd not point at others also. sally i never saw u talkng bad abt others bt i have never seen u on commenting against also, just like what mootwist did rite now.

mootwist ur a racist and i dnt hav anythng to say against that as all wht u said is correct and i dnt have any guilt against that :)

We bleed in the same veins. It's not about nationalities. I just hope some people will learn how to respect others no matter what's their status or jobs. Being a housemaid is not stealing. They work to be paid. It's a noble job. If you really think you are better than most of them then you don't have to talk more here. Walk the talk. Changin your attitude will help you too. How you deal with people whoever they are will be a big help for you..

Oh yes why hire only indian in reputed companies in qatar like petra restorante, companies involve in the salwa road project more and more indian labours . indians in cold stores. indians in souq najada selling mobile. indian family drivers.

Lesson learned don't bash if you don't want to be bashed.

It's hot in here, I deserve a fresher air, gotta get out of here, wanna join me find a place with crowd that uses deodorant?

hey claudia, reading what you have written here, if i am the person who did an interview with you, i would do the same. not to hire you. even you will present me with a high marking calibre post it kind of resume. you know why? its your attitude my dear. you do not have any right to judge others. its very very degrading to make a post of this kind to QL taking Filipinas as an example. for the record, these Filipinas you are referring as housemaids, are more respectable and efficient and trustworthy than YOU, racist.....!!!

~smile always~

Pappu try to read Claudia's comment on the post.  It is not just the question of a non-Filipina not hired in a cosmetic shop. Beside Pappu, have you checked my profile if I ever had a statement about Indians working in Qatar refuted (?) companies? Not once Pappu.

Claudia73, it is not the "disappointing system" you were talking about that is making you jobless till now....it is your attitude. You are so racist! Poor you!

If you think you are better in selling MAC than what you labeled as housemaids..then apply to MAC. For your info most of the housemaids are college graduates who are not as lucky as u r for not needing a second salary.. Racist..

But let me ask you one question where were you guyz whn some pinoys makes a statement like "if you need to work in a reputed or Q Co.s of Qatar you have to be an Indian"

Claudia I hope that you've been resourceful enough to check if those Filipinas working as service crews in McDo are indeed housemaids.  FYI Claudia most of Filipina housemaids working here are 4 year course graduate,  they swallow their pride and work as housemaids because unlike you,  they don't have the luxury of options in life. I bet the reason why employers refused to hire you because of your attitude problem. To you Bhargavi, just be patient, with a positive attitude you will get a job soon. :-)

By jayca• 23 Aug 2011 01:52

Claudia, how did you know that they were housemaids? Because they are filipina?that's a bit racism. You heard the guy, you have no experience in qatar, arent you wondering why after 4 interviews none of them offered you a job, after reading your comments i think i know why they didnt hire you. . .

By Alumnar• 23 Aug 2011 01:31

What do you mean by 'filipina uuuuuugggggggg' and 'housemaids selling MAC do'?

How racist you are. You won't go far jobwise with that kind of attitude! Shame on you!

oh i totally understand :(  i am not in ur field but i thought that with nearly 20 years experience in cosmetics i was going to find a job here very quickly instead, i realized i have to be filipina to have it uuuugggggggggggggggggggg

I went to 4 interviews they all wow at my cv but then they don't hire me, even if at the last interview i put in writing i don' t care about the salary, i am happy with the salary they can offer me, coz i don't do it for the money , my husband works alhmabdulillah we r in no need of a second salary but not working after 20 years of busting myself LOL well its a very disappointing system here ..... at an interview the guy told me i have no experience in qatar, as if these housemaids selling MAC do ..... its really scary how they let children with no experience work in cosmetics, selling face creams that cost thousands of ryals with no training at all .... but i am a woodenhead :) i won't give up :) so u too, do not give up until u get it .
