I am from Pakistan. Recently we have moved to Doha. I have twin girls of age 5 & 1l2 and i am looking for their admission in school. Required grade is I. I have made so many calls and emails but most of them have one answer that there is no seat available n if you wish you can apply for a waiting list. My husband's employers will bear all the expenses of my kids education so i want to get them in a good school. But no one gave a positive reply. Kindly let me know the good schools in Doha. And how can i get into them. What about Pakistani schools here? My kids cant speak englisg fluently, I have checked web sites of most of the schools here. English is their basic criteria. Besides English which school is really good at its Academics. As schools are closed 4 Ramadan so i cant do any thing but i want to have all information in my hand before visiting the schools after Ramadan. Would any one like to help me out?

Congratulations PEC!!!Ahmed_929, I don't know the entire recent results of the federal Board, but after reading your comment I browse PEC website and found;PEC girls notch top TWO slots in the entire Federal Board HSSC Examination.Anab Sundas bagged FIRST position by securing 945 marks and Huma Khalid got SECOND position by obtaining 938 marks in the entire Federal Board.Master Abdul Rehman Fayyaz got FIRST position in Pre-Engineering group by obtaining 1005 marks which is a record in the history of PEC.PEC got IST position in QATAR University Computing Contest 2011. PEC stood FIRST out of 72 teams participated in the contest from all over the Qatar.                Well done girls and boys for setting a record!!

If kids are not fluent in English tehy are unlikely to get admitted in any of the better schools.

Newton is the worse option of British Curriculum Schools in Qatar.

Do a search as this subject has been discussed many times recently. Use the search facility on this website.

if your husband's employer is paying for school fee then  best option for you will be Newton British School (in Aziziya and not the C ring road).  They will accept kids in  grade 1 even if their English is not that good and kids learn quickly, in 6 months time they should be fluent.

Just keep trying and trying - many of us have been in the same boat - it takes time - given the age of the kids I would just get them in anywhere - even if its not one of the best schools and move them when you get a chance - Try people like Newton
