Can i change my technician visa to engineer status after 6 months?

I am a BE Mechanical engineer. my company brought me on technician visa since they dont have engineer visa with them right now.So is it possible after 6 months i can change my visa status?

yup.. you can change it.. i had the same situation. and my visa changed after 2 months.. so time doesn't matter much..collect your documents, especially your degree.. be assure that it is attested from your country foriegn office and then stamp it here from your embassy here in qatar. then stamp it from immigration department. even your PRO can do that also. plus your secondary and highier secondary school certificates.then send it to immigration dept. they will change your profession in your ID card. company have to pay 200 QR for that..but lill bit wasta is needed i think so.. cox in my company, my qatari sponser was working in labor dept
