I have been offered a job in qatar as an english teacher and my visa application has been sent to the ministry on the the 8th August i have to be there 1st week of September

I believe your school management knows the upcoming eid...they should process before so you can come on time.

Just hope your company liason officer acts fast as the Ministry will be open until August 25 and then it will be the long holiday. You still have a week so I think it will get done so you will be here in time for the school opening.
