Do you know what is the minimum salary for the Secondary Teacher in Qatar? I am a young teacher from Europe with 5 years of teaching experience? Thank you for your help!

It does depend where you come from -sadly. You will not earn the same as say a British or an  American Teacher. As for private work - you can do it and you will earn more - just be subtle about it :-)

I am from Poland. I live in UK for a spell but I have Polish nationality. I presume that it depends on the nationality and I agree that it is very unfair. The school which is my sponsor in Qatar has provided a short guide for new teachers. I have noticed there an information that giving the private tutition is illegal and strictly prohibited in Qatar. Meantime, I have found out that there are many offers of privates lessons in the Internet. Now, I am a little bit confused. Is it legal or not?I would appreciate for your help.
