Baby born in Doha - what's needed to leave?

Anyone out there able to tell me what is required for a 3 month old baby to leave Doha?

He will have a British passport which I'm waiting to turn up from the UK and I know there's a simple process to complete at the Immigration office in order to get a visa...but is there anything else?

Does he need an RP put in his passport, if so, can anyone advise the process to do this.

We are living in Doha so he would be returning after a couple of weeks.

Any helpful comments most appreciated.

addition, you may require to attach a photo copy of a document/blood group stating the blood group of the baby, any document you recieved from Hospital, mentioned blood group on it would work for this purpose.

then you can go directly to Immigration office in Gharafa with all the relevant documents. there are typist who can type the form for you in arabic by paying 5/10 riyals. then go to immigration counter, I guess building number-3, submit the documents and pay fee via credit/debit card. (I guess 200 or 400 for one year). they will print the RP and put on the passport at same time.you will be done with.

Thanks remo.Visa is easy to do, that I understand, it's the RP part I'm looking for clarification on my company is not registered in Qatar (I'm under sponsorship from who I'm working with) and like the other family members he would therefore be under my sponsorship. So in this case how do get the RP part?

Once you get his passport, just process his visa/Resident permit. there is no ID card issued for children only need to put RP/visa sticker on passport. so that he can re-enter Qatar. For visa/RP processing, HR/PRO of your company can do it for you provided you give them documents like photo, passport, birthcertificate, copies of your and wife,s ID/RP, filled and signed visa form etc.
