Is there a ban on pakistani work visas in qatar?
hi every body, i am pakistani national civil engineer working with a turkish construction company in qatar since mar 2011. i joined te company on bussiness visit visa which expires every three months. they said they are trying for my work visa, but the qatar government has a ban on pakistani visas so they cannot get work visa, please tell if it is correct as i am really worried about my future here.
atleast you got the job here in a firm. i m applying since past 1 and half month but still nothing happened. i m a civil engineer as well. have tried almost every recruit sites but no use :(
There is no such ban on Pakistani Work Visa, but Yes it is Difficult to get one, "Q" companies are getting Pakistani nationals, like in QP, QA.....
Although there is no official ban announced by the qovt but such complaints have been increasing in numbers lately. The govt. has a quota for each nationality in each field. It all depends on your luck and timing of your application. whish you all the best.
