My sponsor agreed to give me a release, but currently my RP expires last March 21 and it is already over the 90 days grace period for me to renew. However, my new Employer is still preparing the visa transfer document. but i still have some doubt whether i will be transfered or not. thanks in advance

thanks zingle_and_fwee for the info. it helps alot. most probably i will shoulder all the expenses regarding the renewal of the RP. Right now the mandoup of my new employer is still preparing the visa transfer form, and i don't have any updates. I agree that it will cost alot if my visa will be cancelled and i have to process it again, plus the time it consumes. I've been jobless for two months now and i'm struggling for this job opportunity because it is the best offer i've got. thanks for the info everyone. :)

the renewal of the visa which is valid for a year is just 1250 then as you said ur visa expires last march 21 +3 months grace period it means the first day of 10QR penalty starts last june21 and as of this moment ur penlty is 150QR the total amount u need to pay is 1400QR but the mandoop will ask for sure an extra money for the process,, the max amount is 500... so u need to prepare for the max amount of 1900... but as u mentioned uve got a new offer and if u are satisfied for the offer.... ask them  if they are sure 100% they will get u so no need to pay a big amount,, 3-5 working days only then its done the sponsorship is transferred... they are the one who is responsible  for the renewal and transferring fee... about the penalty ahmmmm its depends to the agreement if u are the one who will pay or the new company...:( but u should think first if u really like the new offer uve got cause if u just getting the offer because of the expiration of visa.... dear think thrice u have an options... cause if u doenst like the company u will suffer a year before you can get an NOC again...:( hope ive answer ur question right..:)

but for sure ur current sponsor will not renew ur visa or pay the penalties cause they have ur record for ur resignation it means they are just providing an NOC letter.. but the money matters they doesnt care..so if i were u the best thing to do is to talk to ur current sponsor that u are the one who will shoulder for renewal and penalties,,,just not to cancel ur previous visa.... maybe it will be hard for ur side for being unemployed for how many months.. but it is  the best solution not to spend more bigger amount in the near future..Best of luck

Your 'old' sponsor has to renew your RP. You can only transfer sponsorship if you have a valid visa!

as replied by 'zingle_and_fwee' nothing worry. but you cannot trasfer it without renewing the RP.
