Police Clearance Certificate
Hi,
My father is working for QP and I am under his sponsership since 1997. I have finished my studies in India and I have got a job in Doha. I filled up the form for the transfer of sponsership from my father to my company and also got necessary signatures.
When I went to immigration department, they just verified the signature of my father and put stamp on it. Then they asked me to get a Police Clearance Certificate because when I first entered in Qatar (in 1997) my age was less than 16 years hence PCC is mandatory.
Can someone please let me know the following ?
1. What all documents are required for PCC ?
2. How long does it take.
3. When PCC is available, do I need to go to collect it or can I download online ?
4. What shall I do after getting the PCC ?

Adding to the above answer, you need to fill the form available in the Embassy. Better you ask the guys outside to fill the form for you. Just pay 10Qr. U need to carry 2 photo.

The problem is, I cant submit anything to my company because its a new company and I am the first employee (Director). So my sponsor has asked me to do everything on behalf of the company.

Take your passport and job offer letter (if available) to Indian Embassy. Submit it at the counter meant for PCC along with 70QR . They will ask you to come on the next day to collect the PCC. Go and collect it between 3-3.30pm next day. After getting it take it to Minintry of Foreign Affairs (near Gulf Time Office). Get it sealed from there. You need to carry your debit/credit card as the fee is 20Qr and they wont accept cash. Be there atleast by 7.30pm. It takes just few minutes. They will seal and get it back on the spot. then you submit it to your company.

Either goto Embassy or ICC , they will give u a form. submit the form along with Passport . U will get the PCC in 3 days time.Fee is 70 QR.
