Can I Bring Licensed Softwares to Qatar
Hi,
I have purchased some Licensed Original Softwares back in my country. My bad that I unfortunately left it and came here. Now I have requested my friend to mail it through a courier service. So, I would want to know whether there will be any issues for me to receive or will there be any issues to get it here.
Will the customs allow a licensed software CD to Qatar.
It mostly contains my educational softwares and some antivirus programs and all are 100% licensed and none are pirated.

There are no problems bringing in licensed software to Qatar[1]. Just get your friend to post it over to you (sign-for or courier). In the unlikely event of your package being stopped by customs you will have to argue with them to get it - They are more interested in stopping porn and the like than your Autocad or whatever you are bringing in.Are you sure you need the CD? Its possible that it is available as a download - in which case all you need are your license keys which can be scanned and emailed to you.Andy[1] There are few barriers to bringing in unlicensed software too!
