Sound problems in DELL laptop

Can some help me to solve my DELL laptop's sound problems.

When I make voip calls , receiptants are not able to hear my voice .

I tried different dialpads to check whether it may be problem of viop software but no hope . Can someone suggest how to check sound system and solve this problem.

try this it might help

Pc - 2 - Pc talk ( using yahoo, skype, gmail etc) if your friend can listen you, that means no problem in you sound system and if they don't then its a problem with sound or mic. try to install the drivers again..
