Ghost in Al-Thumama

uk2011
By uk2011

I moved to Al-Thumama area (E-Ring behind Kahramaa office) 4 months ago with my family (wife and 4 kids) in a stand alone 5 bedrooms villa and so far we have experienced the following unexplained events:

First floor:

- During the first week, my wife was working in the kitchen and a bowl moved itself
- After some days another kitchen item moved itself in front of my wife and my son (9 years old)
- My kids (9 and 7 years) heard strange noise in their room and would rush to our room almost everyday..this happened so many times that we had to move their bed mattress in our room
- Air conditioner burnt with a blast..everyone was so scared of all these events that we moved downstairs in the living room with bed mattress and everyday clothes

Ground floor:
- Next day after we moved down stairs, washroom pipes in both washrooms on ground floor were burst and the villa was flooded
- My wife felt someone woke her up in the morning
- After some days, someone woke me up in the morning by touching my feet
- Last midnight, me and wife both heard someone walking and dragging something in the living room (we are practically living/sleeping in the living room only)..we thought its one of our kids up for water or washroom but there was nobody..we searched the whole house but there was nothing..the walking and dragging sound was so clear and lasted for around 5-6 seconds that its impossible to think that there was nobody

I have received this villa as a government accommodation. Can anyone tell me if these things are frequent in Qatar and what should I do in such circumstances?

We had the same sort of terrifying experience in government accommodation near the Ramada (the sight of the tragic accident in 2007) During the first week our neighbors were flooded out, this happened each week for the following two weeks. They were so scared they moved out.

The fire alarms were sounding continuously. There were many cockroaches in the apartment even though it was brand new!

My wife was working in the kitchen and a bowl moved itself and hit her on the head. The circuit breakers keep tripping and light bulbs keep blowing for no apparent reason.

- Last midnight, my wife and I both awoke to two gentlemen fighting apparently over a car parking space. When I got to the balcony the street was again quiet, there was an eerie silence, with no one to be seen.

My wife was so scared of ghosts she keeps the doors locked and we both see shadows that should not be there both day and night.

- Every night a car (or something) travels up the blocks at 0115 and 0230 sounding its horn continuously, this wakes everybody up I complained to the management company but to no avail, I keep trying to get a photo but by the time I get to the balcony on the 7th floor with my camera the source is gone and the road is all quiet. I complained about this to security and to the management company but they said have no access to all the sophisticated surveillance equipment they have. I told them that they should do the guy a favor, as under Qatar law the fine is 6000QR or one month in prison for creating such a disturbance. There was a strange lingering chemical smell on several occasions.

It distinctly reminded me of something but I could not quite place it. Then I remembered it was the same smell that you get on the killing fields in Cambodia. Haven't seen a cockroach since. Perhaps they are just as afraid of the phantom as the security guards?

I will tell you two possibilities for this problem, may be your landlord want government to vacate this house and need to rent it to private party for higher rent (he cant play with government departments) so he may be creating scary scenes. Another possibility, any of your colleagues wanted to stay in that house and he is troubling you to vacate the house, he may be in queue for next chance for family accommodation. People are different and sometimes they acts above our imagination.

Dear

Its all you have to do is..

Please stick suras  in the entrance .. of your door ..

Where all you are facing problems, please do stick.. Suras...

And always on dim light in rooms. {Night Bulb what we call}

Secondly if you burn Agarbathi in the name of Allaha ..("Why agarbathi is  ... when ever you start a good thing in the name of Allaha . he will always help you .. And the fragnece of Agarbathi, where all it reaches...  Difficulties making things go away ")

Before going to sleep.. Tell your self.. This way... if any Spirits exist in this house , please let me know , as i don’t want to create problem to you , and kindly don't create problem to me, as i have my children’s and family .

If there is some thing still trouble you after above.. Seriously you have to leave. The home.. Life is every thing . you cant live keeping fear in your mind .

Be bold, and always think one thing in your mind .. That.. You didn't do any harm to any one.. And no one can harm you..

Take care ... Allhafiz...

If yes then follow the advice of Abu American and Ghazalz and fall not into shirk and bidah due to this trial as this is exactly what the shayateen want of you,Audubillah. I  believe you! I know what you mean. Actually your experiences are not as bad as some of the stuff certain people I know have gone through. But what you need to always bare in  mind is that God is by far more powerful and worthy of your awe than these mischief makers. Inshallah all will be well.

It is better to leave the house and look for another. You can stand for it, but for the kids, they can't. I also believe in ghost even I haven't seen any. I also had experience in our own house in my country not here. My nephew and niece also experience it when they are young. What my mom did is she talk to the ghost and ask them not to scared the child, after that the ghost go silent and never scared my nephew and niece but they are still there. Sometimes we can still hear someone is walking but if we check no one is there.

I have experienced this thing of "something heavy or someone set on my chest and i just can't breath and felt disabled or paralyzed".  It was in our previous flat in Fariq Abdel Aziz, at the back side of Rotana Restaurant along B Ring Road. I have been in bed for two minutes and i am not yet sleeping when i felt something set on top of me and i cant move my whole body. It was only my eyeballs which i can move. I heard my flatmates in the living room but i cant open my mouth and scream. I was in that state for about 1 minute. I was so frightened and then I suddenly felt something pushed me from my side until i was in a sitting position. And that was the time i was able to move. I dont know what that is, but it really scared the life out of me.

Ghost and jinns are the same ????

By painther• 29 Jun 2011 08:08

Poor ghost (jinn whatever...)!!, after reading all QL advises, must be in real trouble :)

actually there're no ghost in real (but in mindset); IMO two ways to tackle it-

1. if you're brave enough, arrogant, fighter (means declare a war on to bl***dy jinn), tust me the poor soul will leave for another place. They're too scared of men (thats why live in deserted places) :P

2. if not, leave the place but remember leave the fear too as soon as possible else as someone suggested jinn (the psycho fear) will follow you.

some tricks_

1. keep the house properly lighted; bl**dy ghosts (read fear) come only in darkness

2. meet a doctor; sounds are not always from outside but from within too.

3. one real time experience- once such thing happened to a guy, he invited all his friends, majority bachlors, and they partied there regularly, music masti all.... (in summary, made jinss's life hell :D) and there after no jinn, no ghost, no problem..... :)

I completely believe you my friend. I have experienced similar things. It is pretty common in Gulf and especially in Qatar.

I moved to an old villa in Bin Mahmoud near Al-thani building after I completed my probation period and my spouse joined me. We did not notice anything initially, but later we use to hear someone running on our roof and someone moving in the kitchen. My wife saw it first and then she told me. I did not believe her at first. In the weekend, I was awake late night and I, myself saw someone moving in the kitchen and it was very tall.

My wife saw someone standing in the kitchen too, when she was alone. There is no other entrance in the house nor any window.

I understood the house was affected with Jinn and started playing surah Al-Baqara on speaker, so that it can be heard in whole house. When we used to play the Surah Al-baqara, my wife used to hear strange sounds. It would stop as soon as we stop the surah.

I came to know through neighbours that previous tenants vacated the villa because of similar complaints. I sent my wife back to India and I stayed at my friend's place till I could get some decent accomodation.

The sad thing is my wife still gets the sounds of dragging things, whistling, etc. We are reading manzil, morning and evening prayers, surah baqara first and last rukuh, ayat-ul-kursi, and 4 khul surahs.

My advice to you is, immediately vacate the place and regularly read manzil. Get in touch with Sheikh and advise your wife to read supplications and 4 khul Surahs, ayat-ul-kursi daily. Allah forbids, the Jinn might follow your wife even when you vacate the place. He will try to trouble you and scare you.

Have complete faith in Allah SWT and he is Almighty. Allah SWT will definitely help you and protect your family from all evil spirits.

Do not worry yourself, such things are common especially if a house has been left empty for a long time.

Jinn are beings that have been created by God just as humans and sometimes they co-exist with us without any trouble and other times not.

Islamically when you move into a new house Quran is played to ward off any bad/evil Jinn that have resided there whilst the property has been unoccupied.

As has been advised above, keep some Quran playing in the background at all times especially Surah Al Baqarah as this will keep them away and if unsure contact Fanaar about getting hold of tapes to play.

Whatever you do, do not get scared as the Jinn take advantage more of your fear, go about your day without taking notice of these things and soon enough you will see that everything should have improved.

Good luck.

Its very clear, its all JINNS doing these mischeifs. Its common in old unused houses, or in houses built in remote areas, and also in houses where the houses are not many .. So what to do now, same think happend for mee too. when I came to a flat which was closed for more than one year.  So call a preist from Masjid - any masjid, tell them there are JINSS in your home. Ask them to read Quraan, sura Yaseen, and the also the last 10 suras from quraan. You can hang out few quranic versions - these are available in lulu ., take some muslim friends. In the mean time search and get an house - dont take if it is locked for many months, and dont take if it is in remote areas

You should contact the police and explain to them your experience. They know what to do... they will get a qualified religious scholar to help you with this issue. If the expert is unable to help, then probably the police will issue a report ... which you can submit to your HR/Facilities team ... at least with the report you can change your accomodation... Most probably the owner of the Villa knows the true story, police will get him to speak about that house... Good Luck.

Since your living in a Muslim country. I would contact a sheikh at a English speaking masjid. And they can do a blessing of the house. As Muslims we don't believe in ghost per say , but we do believe in Jinn and the sheikh can explain that all to you. If that seems to much for you just ask your sponsor for different accommodation.

peace & blessing's
