My cousin (single female) plan to visit us for a couple of days while transiting from a US trip. She is traveling on Qatar Airways.

What kind of visa is needed for such purpose ? Can she do it without having to stay (or pay) at one of the hotels? Naturally she would like to live with us during her time here.

i remember one time that our manager's wife also stopped here in transit and need not check in a hotel. i think you have to apply for it personally at qatar airways office. try calling 4449 6666 to inquire.
