Visa on arrival to Dubai.. please advise
By mayflowerqa •
I am an Indian national with Indian passport. I was working in Dubai for last 4 years and now moved to Qatar since last 45 days. I got my RP and now I am planning to visit Dubai on a weekend as my family is still there. I am on a professional visa(at least thats what they say) with family status. My question is would there be any issue for getting on arrival visa in UAE, or is there anything like RP has to be 6 month old or something like that..? please advise the procedures. I can get exit permit easily from my company.
I think you should look at the option of getting your family to Qatar very soon..
yu can get visa on arrival... still check with Fly dubai.... if yu cannot get...then yu can get from fly dubai office... it takes 7 working days or les...
There are two cases now
1. Case 1 : if you have not cancelled ur UAE work permit and it is not expired yet, then u can just go back to dubai like u used to go from ur native place.
2. Case 2 : if you have cancelled the UAE work permit, then as an Indian to get an on arrival visa u need to qualify yourself with theses two things :
a. You should have some professional backgroud like engineer, manager, doctor etc
b. u must complete 6 months in qatar
SO as you have not yet completed 6 months u need to arrange visa earlier.
I suggest u to get is from Fly dubai. They have the cheapest airfare & they do arrange visas.

Your Qatari Resident Permit should have a designation of Engineer, Manager or higher.
I may suggest go to the main office of Emirates Airlines since they issue Visa bounding Dubai.
