My dad who is in his late seventies had a Lambretta. He used to give me a ride before going to office. Once he burned my hand accidentally with the cigarette in his hand, while I got in..He stopped smoking soon after that incident..Thank you Lambretta for keeping my father alive to this age..You are powerful indeed.... :-)
many LAmbretta's before. He used for newspaper delivery when I was still young. Transmsiion and clutch are both in left handle while the front wheel break is in the right handle. A foot break is on the right side of the floor for the rear tire. It's really a classic now. I think he still have one or two. I just don't know if it is till operational!
Very stylish scooter, liked it. I always loved scooters! In Vespa scooter museum I saw Vespa scooter at first, it made my mind to buy one. Its a very stylish and comfortable scooter and in my opinion Vespa’s are most impressive models to date. Kabirdass India
I think the Lambi will be going into hibernation soon. Out yesterday and it was like riding through superheated sandpaper. By the time I get back from leave after summer it'll be just right again. By that time the Vespa will be here too. Vespa/Lambretta, you know it makes sense.
I used to dream of owning an SX200 in yellow with a taxi stripe and of course an Ancilotti seat. I had a 175 stripped down for hill climbing. I can still taste the mud. I was never a big fan of Vespa's. Lambo's were streamlined and cool. Vespa's looked like a fat duck waddling along. Mind you I would have any these days.

When you're a child, you tolerate many things and life is an adventure. Its only when we grow older that we become cynical.
There are even Vespa Rickshaws at the Pearl?
