Hullo!
Can anybody suggest where to buy books here? Bookstores, I mean. I want to check it out and do some actual (forget Amazon, at the moment) book shopping.
Thanks a bunch! :)

(at) flexicode - Thanks. Just came from there and I bought a couple of books. :)
(at) Oryx - Will do.
(at) cabbage - Oh, I was also advised to check Virgin at Villaggio. I passed by it one time and did not go in because from the outside, I thought it was a music store with all those blaring (too loud) sounds. Later on, I discovered that it also holds a bookshop inside. Will check that out.
What is an Aramex?
(at) Mr M. - Been to I Spy but I only saw too many kiddie books.
The bookstore in City Center is called I Spy.It has got decent books as well.
It depends on what kind of books you want.
There is Virgin (Villagio & Landmark) - they sell books; seems to ME at the moment self help books but I only glance at the book side near the DVD's as the music there is too bloody loud! So of course they could have great selection.
Al Jarirr - old fashioned but good enough.
There is a book shop in City Centre - 2nd floor I think; can't remember the name sorry. According to friends they sell great books.
There is not a Waterstones here.
Do what I do - open an Aramex account and get them shipped in :-)
