How to bring a car from Abu Dhabi to Qatar

My son is coming to Qatar for a period of 06 months since he got a transfer. If his car which he owns (bought by a bank loan & still being payed) right now (Toyota corolla 2010 10th catagory 79536)to be brought in to Qatar & to use, what is the proceadure? Please let me know (my mobile is 55859726).

You cannot bring your car out of the UAE if it is still on a bank loan...close the loan and then its easy

Willam,

Your son can drive from Abudhabi to Doha. The procedure is simple. He need to get a Pre-requisite Visa from Saudi Embssay in Abudhabi. This ia transit visa valid for 60 day to do this round trip ( UAE-SAUDI- QATAR and Back).

I presume that your son can get a on arrival visa at Doha border ( or else you can apply on his behalf)

Last week i did this trip and it took me only 6 Hrs to reach doha from abudhabi.
