Getting OEC in POEA Ortigas

To all OFW: If you are planning to secure OEC in POEA Ortigas, you have to allocate 4 hours of your time. The system is poor as you have to wait 4 hours before you secure your OEC. Imagine, there are 17 windows inside but only 4 or 5 windows open for processing. Other employees are chit-chatting at the back of the windows where you can see them, some are selling or showing shoes to others, laughing and just standing around without care if the OFW's can see them doing nothing while OFWs are waiting in a very long line.

POEA really stinks! These agency is full of inefficient people. If only President Pnoy knows what they are doing, for sure, the President will kick their ass.

If you are in the province better get from the POEA/OWWA office nearest your province. its faster. Ortigas POEA sucks.

i went there last december, and since OEC covers 2 years and mine is just a year, so i only need to pay 100 pesos, so far they call by 80s so it's a bit okay, you should have experienced years back, and you'll appreciate the current service.

it's all but patience..

the last time i checked, it's still a government agency. so what's new?

you can have it delivered to your home if you don't want to wait that long. but since i'm such a cheapskate i prefer to wait.
