software engineer salary in doha

hi i am dev from india ,i have 6yrs exp in software development,java j2ee development
.i got offer from one compaany im doha.and the salary is 1.5 lakh qatar currency.is this a good offer?i am getting 13 lakhs salary in india.what is the salary range in doha for a software engineer?plz help me in thus matter?shall i cept this offer?

Your question is not clear whether 13 lakhs per month or per annum in India.You got a clear answer above I feel on savings in Qatar.

1)First you check How Much is your savings in India after all your expenses Per Annum out of - 13 Lakhs Salary

2) Cost of Living in Qatar

Accomodation (I think you are married and like to bring your family along with)

Two Bedroom Furnished - 4500 - 7500 qrs/month (includes Ele/Water/Net)

Monthly living expese - 2000 qrs (grocessry/food)

Car if Loan/Rent 1250 to 2000 qrs per month depending on type of vehicle you opted )

Education - 500/750 qrs per month per chield

so approximate total cost per month is 5500+1750+1800+500

(I selected average) =9550/PM

Your savings is = 12500-9550= 2950 qrs pm

so monthily remittence to home = 2950*12.10 = 35695

My suggection - Not accept the offer, because life here is boring and dull unless you was paid in hand full. if a person getting 1200000 PA pls stay there,

if you are a greedy pls come and suffer

Do the math. From what you said, it is clear that you will be getting more working in India than working here in Qatar.
