Getting a Qatari Driving Licence if you have one from the USA
An Egyptian person I know, as I went with them, went to the Traffic Dept, spoke to one of the 'persons' outside and came away 2 hours later with a Driving Licence tipping the person 200Qr for this. This despite it, in theory being a Qatari requirement for Egyptian nationals to do the theory and driving test over here.
My question is, does anyone American know if this would be possible for an American driving licence, if you speak to the right person?
I just went with our PRO to the driving license dept, paid the money, they took the copy of my RP, took the picture and it was all done.
Apparently this is BECAUSE its an american drivers license.
