GENERALLY, I don't either. And people call me childish and naive, but I say that I'm child-like - there is a difference. :0)

That's very true. It is only those we are attached to who have the power to hurt us deeply. But having said that, human beings are adaptable, we can always detach and be no longer infuenced by those people. After trying to persuade them, we can "shake the dust off (y)our feet" and move on. We'd be happier this way.

It's quite simple, you are what you think. And if you think wrong, you will do wrong.

Why do some people think wrong? I don't know....some think they are smart, until they lose...then they blame others for their downfall...that makes them what? Stupid? Maybe.

In the end what is important is how I think, what I do...and what ever that is , it is reflected in the life I live and in the circumstances of my life.

we are capable of living far better lives, if we do the right things with the right intentions... Then what makes us do otherwise?

does it include killing my boss, with intention to do it :P

The choice is with us, isn't it?

I don't wanna sound preachy here or anything... but its just that I wish to discuss here on what triggers such behaviour in us. We all wish for world peace (Our choice) but pick up a fight instead of sorting it out peacefully (our action)

We will do what we want- that is the purpose of free will.. But then, are we choosing what is right.. and that too, with the right intentions?

You live your life as you would wish it...

If you want to be egoistic and :

live with animosity for others,

live with hatred,

live with utter disregard for people,

live to cheat, and cheat to live...

then YOU will do...

I reiterate that its not meant to be cynical.

We all pray to God, fall in love, eat food- the list of common activities are endless... Yet, we treat others very differently.

Greed, Jealousy are no doubt factors which contribute to this... I guess even attachment to a particular thing, particular person or event leads us to being who we shouldn't be.

There's never gonna be a perfect solution... Sad, but true...

I feel cynicism here, it is hard to argue though...
