According to this, civil unrest in the Arab was the result of US military finance. Is it that sumple?

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir on Saturday told the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs that Pentagon injected $130 million in Western media to destabilise the Arab countries and US is supporting opposition in these countries as well.

The meeting of the Senate committee was held here at the Parliament House with its chairman Salim Saifullah in the chair. The meeting was attended by Senator Khursheed Ahmed, Senator Jan Jamali and other officials.

I don't see how the US will net much money out of this. Iraq has hardly been profitable.

This so called victory of freedom been stolen once from Iraqis and then from Afghanis ( WHO GOT the BENEFIT, everyone knows)

Revolution ??????

If revolution needs somewhere it should be in america first. But because media is not exposing nobody knows whats going on there......if its right time for revolution, America and Britain will have to face too soon.

If its people's revolution, let people of particular country handle it, WHO ARE YOU to attack IRAQIS or LIBYANS ??? with no bases as later proved in IRAQ.

Let me ask you a question, you have an opposition in your country, they protest and protest more, Should I come attack you to support those who are few in no.s

This is the main concern. But someone will have hidden benefits with these revolutions.

I dont know if you know about Gulf or midle east culture, Dictators suits more here and ofcourse you cant make everyone happy. People are much more in good shape in middle eaast than any where in the world, if you look at overall picture.

No one is allowed to steal the victory of the people who shed their blood for the freedom.

it is just when the masonic system said that they are the one who led to the French revolution in 1789.

they are like surfing players, when the wave comes they get on the top of it and then say "we are the ones who made the wave"

what the arab world is witnessing now is an absolute fact and it was expected to be like this but nobody knew when?!!!..

hunger, injustice, and (the illness of any society) will lead to a revolution, and what i know that leaders come and go but people will remain.

Some Arab countries will do very well out of all this. Qatar, for example, has emerged as a regional leader that is willing to play ball on pursue its interests with force--troops in Bahrain and jets in Libya. Same with the UAE. Both are big winners. KSA, Tunisia, Egypt remains to be seen. Libya, Yeman, Bahrain are big losers in all of this--ongoing instability.

It's a power shift. And America's closest allies, the more liberalized Arab countries are doing well.
