Library - borrowing books?

I know that there was much talk of a library being planned to be built on the Corniche and subsequently cancelled, but what is going on now?

I'm a Psychology student visiting my family in Qatar and I'd like to read up on some literature for essays and reports. Is there any way I could borrow books from another school or university, such as the College of the North Atlantic?

Georgetown University's Library in Education City is open to the public. They will also allow people to check out books. Internet is directly linked through NYC. Ask them about the program to check out books for the public and they'll give you a form to fill out.
