I am IT Administrator, doesn't make any sense that if you don't have experience in Gulf or What ever, At least you have experience somewhere that made them hire you. 3500 QAR is very very Bad offer without accommodation, but if they will provide you accommodation with 4000 QAR then you can manage. the difficult part is to Get working Visa here even if you are well qualified. once you get in then you can find alot of ways to increase you income. But don't forget the accommodation is important, because living Cost is very high.

Don't accept the offer. That company is fooling you. 3,500 is very low for IT administrator. I will give you sample computation so you would have idea how much could you save out of 3,500. You will live in sharing accomodation as bedspacer which cost around 700/month, transportation is 400-500/month, food and toiletries is 600-700, cp load is 50-100. Your approximate expenses is almost 2,000/month for the basic needs only? Do you think the remaining 1,500 would be enough for your family? How about your savings? How about your other needs? Don't rush just because you want to work abroad. You have to think as well if being thousands of miles away with your family is worth with what they offer.

it is not a good offer , if they want you to make a database ERP software and webdesign , Normal ERP software and professional web-design costs more .

so they want to reduce the cost . it is better to go for another offer if you have hope .

what do you know about cost of living in Qatar , for food and accommodation .you cannot survive with this less salary .

What sort of Company is this to have you as the only IT guy? How big are they? Your salary will be depneding on the size of the Company. If the Company is big then you can ask more but as per your explanation I dont think the Company is big enough to offer you a bigger package.

Topnotch, Are you expecting 6k salary for a person who has got no experience in the middle east? As far as I am concerned I will not offer for more than 4k for a fresh person,

Hell no that's an awful offer. Tell them you want a minimum of QR6K with accomodation, or its just not worth it.
