Moving to Doha

Hi Everyone,

I will be heading for Doha, in July this year. Sure it is going to be very hot but will just have get used to the heat and everything that goes with it.

I will be travelling with my son, 12 year old. The situation we are in, my daughter is studying for her ‘A’ levels. We do not want to interrupt her studies. So My wife will stay in UK till daughter completes her ‘A’ levels and off to University.

In mean time I will be in Doha with my son.

Question:
1. Will I be able to hire a female Maid / Housekeeper possible stay in or out.
2. I do not want to go through sponsorship if I can help it. So would it be possible to
find a local maid / housekeeper for 12 to 18 months.
3. Can the maid, collect children from school.

Any advice would be much appreciated
